If you're here you most likely know what a scene kid is but maybe you don't know! Let me explain it for you!
"Rawr! It meanz I luv u in dinosawr!"
basically the name is pretty self explanitory. Rather than being normal, we'd rather make a scene!
How to be scene:
1, Getting the look. Being a scene kid is all about the look. Mainly the hair! Long choppy haircuts with spiky bangs are a must have. Usually dyed different colours or just brown or black with blonde streaks. Every scene kid almost always has coon tails. That's when a streak of hair is dyed one colour with another colour or shade of horizontal stripes. Some people will dye patterns or shapes into their hair like leopard print or diamonds. Vanna Venom was super well known for her crazy hair! Most scene kids cut their own hair. Watching videos of Amber or MintyOreos dye their own hair made you wish your parents would let you. I know I do! Or wishing that we have enough money to keep up our pretty hair.
2, Acting scene. Being scene is full of positivity. A main quote from every scene kid is "cringe culture is dead!". If you don't know what cringe culture is look it up. There is a lot of drama in the scene kid community which is what you get when you let a bunch of whiny teenagers get together. Scene kids definitely aren't what they used to be. Guys have curly poofy hair and girls will buzz their hair. Doing this doesn't mean you aren't scene, it's just different. There are still some og scene kids around! Many are on tumblr and you can still find a bunch on instagram. Not many people use Myspace anymore but it is still around. A main aspect of the scene personality is having a "random" sense of humour. T4lk1ng L1k3 th15 15 0n3 w4y t0 d0 1t.
